Distinction Prizes of the 2006 Onassis International Cultural Competitions

The Board of Directors of the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation have decided, in concurrent agreement with its academic advisors, not to award the Onassis International Cultural Competition Prizes for a) composition of an original theatrical play, b) original choreography, c) original music composition for dance and d) composition of an original painting. Only Distinctions Prizes will be presented ex aequo, accompanied by a monetary prize of €15.000, to the following

ORIGINAL THEATRICAL PLAY

Mr. Asteriou Tsikras, Greece, for his play «ΜΕ ΦΟΒΟ ΘΕΟΥ» (With the Fear of God)
Mr. Nick Patricca, USA, for his play “The Defiant Muse”
Mr. Alfredo Balducci, Italy, for his play “‘Un’ipotesi su Jean Jacques Rousseau”
Prof. Thomas Riccio, USA, for his play “INUIT”

ORIGINAL CHOREOGRAPHY

Ms. Inmaculada Rubio Tomas, Spain, for her choreography “Pending Contact/While Awaiting”
Mr. Henrik Kaalund, Denmark, for his choreography “4”

ORIGINAL MUSIC COMPOSITION FOR DANCE
